Today is the day that the SplitCoast Dirty Dozen girls (past and present) share our February challenge card. I was MORE than excited when I heard that the challenge was for us to use stamps designed by fellow Dirty Dozen girls, because that includes my Whipper Snapper stamps! Whoooo-FUN!
There were a few other "rules" to the challenge as well. We were to use "spring" colors (whatever that means to us), NO die-cutting machines, and if we wanted to we could use any other Dirty Girl's card for inspiration for our own.
I chose images from Spring has Sprung and BoPeep's Sheep for my card. I stamped the images with black Stazon ink and watercolored them with a water brush and Stampin' Up reinkers. For a bit of extra pop with the flowers, I added color with Copic markers after the watercolored inks were dry.
I used a Quickie Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter to add sparkles to the sheep's wool.
You've got to see the other Dirty Girl creations! You can view the gallery of all of the designs HERE. It's so fun to see the various stamps by Lisa Strahl for Cornish Heritage Farms, Melanie for Gina K Designs, and my Whipper Snapper stamps all in one gallery!
Oh, this is just darling.
