Last weekend, I was a busy BUSY girl. I had a couple of big projects that I wanted (needed) to finish that needed a creative mind. I can't think of a better way to get a mind thinking creatively than by playing!
I pulled out one of my new Whipper Snapper images (this one is called Topiary Perch), a cute little sentiment by American Art Stamps, and some brightly colored Memory Box note cards and just played. No deadlines. No absolutes. Just fun.
I ended up really loosely painting this image with a water brush and Stampin' Up reinkers. I liked the way the ink left highlights and areas of shadow on the topiary. I colored the bird with Copic markers - again, quick and easy.
I'm looking forward to this weekend. We don't really have any plans, so hmm.... maybe I'll find more play time!
Happy Friday!!
Love it Anna!
