Cafe Chatter

I am really pleased with how this card came together. It's exciting to see something actually turn out the way it was imagined.

The image is from an up & coming new set from My Favorite Things called Meet Me at the Cafe. The image of these two ladies is so fun to color! And paper piecing their outfits will be a perfect way to give them all kinds of trendy wears.

The image is stamped on white paper and watercolored with a water brush and re-inkers. I mounted it on black cardstock, and adhere it to the Cosmo Cricket designer paper with dimensionals.

I've used quite a few of the white scalloped cards as bases to my lately, and while they're a little flimsy, they're still fun! I found them at Target in the scrapbook section of the store. They aren't a very heavy cardstock, but once you get them layered up with all kinds of fun papers and goodies, they're just fine.

The polka dot ribbon is nothing new to me or my cards. It's my favorite.
