I've been meaning to cover this little notebook I've had for a while now. Tonight, I finally did it! I used paper from the Radiant paper pad by Crafty Secrets.
The strawberry label is also from the Radiant paper tablet. I layered it with black CS and patterned paper. Then I stamped over the entire matted image with VersaMark ink.
Once it was good and sticky, I added a layer of Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel and melted it with my heat tool. I like the added durability the enamel provides for the decorative image.
I added some of my FAVORITE May Arts ribbon, and a fun little silver leaf charm by Blue Moon Beads. See the faux stitching along the edges of the book? I did that with my handy-dandy serrated tracing wheel!

Stunning!!! Love the EP layer on it, good idea!

What a beauty of a book. Using the tracing wheel is pure genius...I have one from my pre-papercraft days when I sewed on fabric. LOL

Oh this is so very pretty. It would make such a wonderful gift! Thanks for the idea. I'm sure mine will look nothing near as beautiful as yours, but I will definitely give it a try.

That's a gorgeous notebook. Very bright and bold.
I tried the method using VersaMark, then Ultra Thick Utee. Is there a trick? How long does it take to melt? My powder just blew off the card and didn't seem to melt at all. Help please!

Did you take off the spiral in order to affix the paper on the front cover of the notebook?
