Just a quick note to wish my Dad, and all Dads, a happy Father's Day!
My Dad loves do so many things, but most of all he loves to fish. I love this photo of my dad - it was taken a couple of years ago while he was fishing with one of his buddies on the river near where they live. It looks like they had a GREAT time on a beautiful day!
Dad, I hope you have a wonderful day today! Sorry Alan and I can't be with you to celebrate. Daisy and Farley send big hugs and licks, and Twinkle Toes and Huey say TWEET! All the other critters say bark meow moo hee-haw cluckity cluck!
Oh, and uh... your father's day package is late.
But you should be used to that by now!
Wow, your Dad is very young looking and handsome! He also looks so happy, there's nothing greater to me than to see people smiling, I love it!!
Since my Dad is 85.5 there is nothing, I repeat NOTHING that he needs so my card to him with $1.00 in it is his gift. He get's the biggest kick out of that dollar. The story is that when my DH was a kid (were talkin' circa 1952) his mother would give him $2.00 to give the birthday child; however, my DH felt the recipient only needed a dollar, LOL. I told my father that story a long time ago because I sent him a card with the dollar and didn't explain it.
This year he FINALLY got his card before FD.
