I found a new notebook size (new to me anyway) at Target a while ago, so I picked a few up to alter. (You'll find these in the office/notebook area of Target stores.) This one is about 4x6 - maybe a smidge bigger.
I wanted to make a destination journal using some of my international-themed stamps and a cute little vintage cut from Crafty Secrets. I put a layer of clear Glossy Accents over the little vintage image to make it look more like a charm, and to protect the image.
After I put the book together, I realized that maybe I should have used my FRENCH script stamp, instead of my ITALIAN script stamp for the text.
Sooooo, with the clock (right side) being a London clock, the Italian script, the Paris title, Eiffel Tower and Paris postmark, I guess it's a European City Destination Journal.
Works for me!
What a beautiful journal! TFS.

The Target notebooks are great - and SO CHEAP! They make great gifts...you can incorporate a long ribbon for a bookmark, too....and there are some pens there that come apart (the end screws off) and you can stamp some stock to match the journal, and roll it and slip it back into the pen....then you have a nice set...have fun!
