Oh how fun to use one of my Whipper Snapper stamps! Wouldn't you know, I missed another friend's birthday. Hopefully a cute little Fabriano paper birdie birthday card makes up for it!
I stamped the image in black Stazon on Fabriano paper, and colored it with markers and inks. The leaf was colored with Stampin' Up markers, and the bird was colored with ink from my Bashful Blue Stampin' Up reinker and an aquapainter. The ground was colored with ink from my Close to Cocoa reinker and an aquapainter.
I added Stardust Stickles on the tail and the seeds on the ground, wing and beak. The flower and the bird are also shimmery! I used Future Floor Wax in my "other" aquapainter and painted on some pearly colored Pearl-Ex. Very sparkly ... very shimmery ...

Love it! Love it! Love it! There is a reason why I want EVERY stamp you have designed! Must go shopping today for MORE stamps. Thank you so much for showing us new ways to use the stamps. I don't think I would have ever thought to put a flower over the stamped image!

I love this card! Adorable. I had this bird stamp on my birthday list, and sadly, no one got it for me. However, I'm looking on the positive side and see at it as a chance to go shopping for it and ADDITIONAL stamps at the same time. :)

Very cute, Anna! I cannot find Future Floor Wax anywhere around me. Can another brand be used? It seems there isn't much for floor wax out there any more.
