Thought I'd share another handbag. This is a custom order bag made out of 1930's reproduction print fabrics.
I knew the fabric was perfect for the person it's for not only because of the sweet combination of colors in purple, orange and green, but also because of the cheery print of the fabrics.
I've really been enjoying making these bags. I will have a few more custom bags to share with you soon -- I'm just waiting for the fabric to arrive so I can get busy sewing! And I'll be making a few more to sell on the shop soon too -- there's just not enough time in the day for all of my projects!
We got a bit of rain here yesterday evening and last night (1.5" total), and boy could we sure use some more! We had a few mid-80 degree days last week, and that's just too warm and dry for this time of year.
Oh... and why do the weekends have to be so FAR apart!?

Amazing! I love the colors because they look so much like spring. TFS.
Iv'e been down and out with a very MEAN bug. It's taking me a while to recover so I'm behind in my blog reading. Sitting at the computer really makes me weak, so it's back to bed now.

Another cute bag! Do you have a specific pattern you use or just one of your original creations? :-) Anne

LOVE THE BAG! every time I try to get onto your shop to buy one.. they are gone! maybe I will be lucky someday!
thanks for the inspiration! I love hearing about your sweet animals! It is refreshing because it is SO different from my life here in Chicago, but similar too.. rubberstamping is so universal that way!

This is adorable, Anna! I love those vintage re-prints also. I started a Grandma's Flower Garden quilt with them but it still sits unfinished. I agree with you, too much time between weekends!
