Another holiday card before Thanksgiving... but, I had to do it again!
When I first saw this set in the Stampin' Up holiday catalog, I knew I wanted to make him into a Santa wearing somewhat non-traditional colors. For some reason, I always imagine a woodland Santa to wear green wool with heavy fur trims on his hat and coat. So, a woodland Santa he is! ...and he coordinates with the wonderful Basic Grey paper I bought last weekend!
The Sweet Holiday Wishes sentiment is by A Muse. Santa is stamped on watercolor paper and watercolored with ink from my reinkers and my aquapainter. I think he's charming. *wink*

You are just wonderful at watercoloring. The colors look so warm and inviting! Love both cards! *Ü*

Anna, this card and its coloring made me think of my mom. She's always going to estate and tag sales. She's always coming home with fun treasures, and has quite a discriminating eye.
One of her words of advice for me over the years, is that if I see a blue or green outfitted Santa, and he is old and in good condition snap him up if the price is right. Some of the most valuable Santas are older ones that are in greens and blues.
Your card has that old time, 'snap it up quick' quality to it. Thanks for sharing, and happy thanksgiving!

Okay Anna, I thought I had plenty of stamps for cards for the grands and great-grand. I tried my best to narrow down what I ordered from the Holiday Mini and my TECHNIQUE is not working well...I love, Love, LOVE what you did, he's enchanting and suitable for GROWN-UPS, now I have to have this set! TFS??
