My girls have mostly been on strike since mid November (they believe that I conspire to shorten the day length for them and as a result, firmly refuse to lay). However, after a few discussions in the past week regarding the fact that yes, the days really were getting longer, I have actually collected 3 eggs. From 16 hens, mind you. Still not great, but it is a start.

Wonderful eggs. I just got 2 dozen yesterday from a local gal that has her own chickens.
