Last week, I hosted one of the annual SplitCoastStampers "Dare to Get Dirty" challenges, and I thought I would share my card here, too! If you're a stamper, be sure to check out the forums and galleries at SplitCoastStampers. Lots and LOTS of fun and inspiration to be found there.
This week's High Hopes challenge theme is "Summer Fun" You will find all the details on the High Hopes blog. The challenge runs through Monday; join the fun! You might even earn yourself a guest designer spot on the High Hopes team!
I bought this book years ago, and am so glad I did! Most, if not all, of the recipes can simply be mixed by hand in a bowl. Even the recipes designed to be used with cookie cutters don't have to be complicated. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet and using a table knife just cut grid lines to create square cookies. No need to make shapes if you're short on time.
I like that I can easily substitute recipe ingredients (like whole wheat flour, and organic ingredients). And it makes me happy to make treats for our "kids". Who doesn't love cookies that have been made with love?
Need a low-to-no salt treat for your dog? Good luck finding one at the store! Make them at home instead!
Read the labels on your pet treats ... you might be surprised.
Tomorrow is the last day to enter the current Touch Twin challenge (#TTC20 which happens to be a COLOR challenge), for your chance at winning free markers. I am the ARTisan with the current inspiration card, and I thought I'd share it here, too! Find all the details about the current challege on the Touch Twin Challenge Blog.
Hope you have a super weekend! We're expecting some cloudy days, and we couldn't be more excited about it! Maybe we'll get some much needed RAIN!!
How about a little pre-Fourth of July celebrating? I made this card using my Primitive Folk Sheep image. The image is colored w/ a combination of Touch Twin and Copic markers. The papers are from the Sasparilla paper pad by October Afternoon. A favorite of mine.
