You must really pour the water to the squash and zucchini to get such amazing yields! Great job! I love reading about the different types that you grow.

I am standing at my desk giving you a standing ovation!! WOW...very impressive! Happy for you after all your hard work last year and all that you lost! ENJOY the work of your labor!!

WOW!

Holy cow batman! That's a lot of vegetables! I'm impressed Anna - I know you're eating great food and I'm just a wee bit envious! Hugs!

Lemon cucumbers? Must investigate.

You may have to repost the candy recipe's for those that may not have picked up on it last time around. I find it very nice myself as an old fart that just likes jerky and corn nuts with a little Crown Royal to soak the corn nuts in. It's a good sippin whiskey. I have huckleberry bounce later in the year.(sept.& Oct.)......Love, Dad

HUGE harvest of zucchini -- do you ever sell it? What is zucchini candy? Do you have a recipe? What is "8 ball" zucchini? I frequently wish I had the time and skill to can -- but we gave up our garden for wild animals and I never really got the rhythm of it anyway. (City girl) I'm kinda jealous -- except I couldn't take the Texas heat, so reality sinks in and I just admire the heck out of you! :)

It's funny to read about your garden where here in NE Ohio we just planted a month ago (and that was early for us since we had such a mild winter/spring). So I am wondering - WHAT do you do with all that Zucchini - I love Zucchini and I'm just wonder what you do with that large of an amount!

Yayyyyyy for the Patty Pan Squash, and c'mon watermelon!

Wow! Wow! WOW!! Your garden report is exciting to read! Really!! I'm impressed! And here I was happy to have spinach, herbs and some lavender to report so far. BUT...everything is growing and I found my first tomato forming. And...patty pan is growing well too. Watching daily for the first sign of one forming! *wink* Hope you'll continue to give your harvest reports as regularly as time allows. You are my inspiration!

P.S. How are "the girls" doing? Do you have egg count reports?

this is funny to see-we just this week got our plants in the ground! here in CT you don't plant anything but peas prior to mothers day-we wait 2 more weeks as mother nature always plays tricks with new england.
2 weeks ago-ac's needed, last week stoves back on for heat!crazy! enjoy those veggies!

HI ANNA,
I GET SO THRILLED WHEN I READ YOUR GARDEN NEWS I FEEL LIKE I AM BACK ON THE FARM AGAIN! I AM SO GLAD YOU ARE GETTING SOME VEGGIES THIS YEAR AS I KNOW YOU HAD A BAD YEAR LAST YEAR FROM THE DROUGHT. MAKES MY MOUTH WATER THOUGH SEEING ALL THE VEGGIES YOU HAVE GOTTEN BRINGS BACK FOND MEMORIES BUT GLAD YOU ARE HAVING A MUCH DESERVED PRODUCE ACTIVITY THIS YEAR. YOU PUT SO MUCH WORK INTO YOUR GARDENS SO HAPPY FOR YOUR INCREASE!

WOW, that is a LOT of zucchini! I am so anxious for the garden to start producing. *sigh* Hmmm maybe this is the year we will record our harvest.
