Good morning, and HAPPY MONDAY! I'm so excited, I actually have the day off! A three day weekend ... YAHOO!! I plan to just dink around the house... do some farm chores, some house chores, and be crafty. What fun!
The Crafty Secrets girls decided to do a "spring" themed challenge for today. It's fun to be using spring colors again! I found this cute vintage image in the Seasonal vintage cuts booklet. It was the perfect image for today's challenge!
I snipped the image from the booklet, inked the edges of all the layers with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, added some faux stitches, and adhered the paper layers of the card together. I added a touch of glitter to the image (the chick is tossing roses out of the plane). Glitter is so tough to photograph. Imagine just a hint of sparkle on the roses, and on the tree tops in the lower right corner! A quick button and thread finish off the card.

What a cute card! I've seen many cardmakers use these types of vintage images, do you know if there are any restrictions when selling your handmade items and where do you find them?

What a marvelous use of Crafty Secrets' Vintage Cuts! Your inking of all the edges works superbly well. I love Crafty Secrets as much as your Whipper Snapper designs.

Very Cute Anna! I'm loving the springy blue and yellow. Spring is sounding pretty darn good to me at this point. Funny.. I used an image from the Seasonal book also.
